Child Care Center Site Supervisor
Responsibilities:
The Supervisor will work will children, staff and parents at Roche’s Corporate Child Care Center. He/she will be responsible for the daily operations of the Center, in accordance with New Jersey Child Care State Licensing and National Accreditation Standards. The candidate will supervise a staff of mid-level teachers and support personnel.
The Supervisor will maintain compliance of all early childhood programs; children, parents, staff and facility in accordance with NJ State Child Care Licensing and National Accreditation standards. In addition to maintaining Accreditation and NJ Licensing Standards, the candidate will be required to maintain quality assurance and academic excellence in the areas of child assessments, curriculum development and professional staff development. He/she will be required to coordinate/collaborate all corporate activities with internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
A degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education or related field is required. A Master's degree in Supervision and Management or Curriculum Development is desirable. The candidate must have eight to 10 years teaching and supervisory experience. He/she must be familiar with New Jersey State Licensing and NAEYC Accreditation standards.
